Our Story

We are a Black-led, Black-focused, and Black-serving non-profit organization serving youth of Afro-Caribbean descent.

Set in motion by the lived experience of racialized youth, Youth Connect Services provides youth mentoring programs to support racialized/black youth in Toronto, Canada to ensure they’re equipped with all the inputs they need throughout their professional lives.

Why Us?

In a society where distribution of opportunity is not equal, racialized and low income youth need solid grounding to fall back upon to realize their potential. Youth Connect Services was created to train, mentor, and counsel the youth, and to expand their outreach and networks to not only incorporate them into the Canadian workforce but build leaders out of them.

Our Purpose

Youth Connect Services operates exclusively for charitable purposes, specifically to relieve poverty, advance education, and promote community wellbeing by providing culturally sensitive support, skill based training, social development and poverty alleviation programs for low income marginalized youth- particularly Afro-Caribbean descent in Toronto East.

Youth Connect Services envisions a vibrant, equitable society where marginalized youth—particularly of Afro-Caribbean descent—are empowered to break the cycle of poverty, thrive through education, and lead change in their communities with pride, resilience, and purpose.
